Wera Works Ltd have been actively involved in the Takitimu North Link project for the past 18 months. They have provided welding, fabrication and engineering services to the project. They were originally engaged on the Takitimu North link project to undertake in-situ pile casing splicing. We have been very happy with the work they have completed. The teamwork efficiently and produce work to a high standard. They have always made us a priority, even at short notice which has been greatly appreciated. Since the original contract they have been engaged to supply and operate an onsite all weather welding yard, along with various other welding and fabrication works. Neihana has been very accommodating to our requirements. He has been very helpful in the development and approval of new welding procedures to suit the projects specifications.
While involved with the project Wera Works have completed hundreds of pile casing splice welds from 710mm-1500mm diameter. They have also fabricated a large twin level piling gate and various other items for the project. They are a reasonably small team but have a good bunch of committed personnel with the right attitude.
